Terms of Use
These terms cover jobmaxxer and this website. By setting up jobmaxxer or using this site, you agree to them.
The short version
- jobmaxxer is in early beta. It may break or change.
- It runs on your own Claude account, so Anthropic's terms apply to that part too.
- Always check a CV or answer before you send it. You are responsible for what you submit.
- We can't promise you'll get interviews or a job.
Who we are
jobmaxxer is an independent project made in Dublin, Ireland ("we", "us"). It is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Anthropic. "Claude" is a trademark of Anthropic.
What jobmaxxer is
jobmaxxer is a job tracker that you set up inside your own Claude account using the instructions and code in our GitHub repository. It can search for jobs, grade how well they fit, tailor your CV, and draft answers to application questions.
What you need
- You must be at least 18.
- You need your own paid Claude plan. Your use of Claude is covered by Anthropic's terms and usage policies, and anything jobmaxxer does uses your plan's limits.
- You are responsible for your Claude account, and for who you share your tracker link with.
Plans and pricing
We may offer paid plans with extra features. If we do, prices and what's included will be shown clearly before you pay anything.
Beta
jobmaxxer is in early beta. Features may change, stop working or be removed, and we may stop the project at any time. Keep your own copy of anything important, like your master CV. The optional nightly backup during setup can help with this.
AI writing: check before you send
jobmaxxer uses AI to write and grade things. AI can make mistakes. Before you send a CV, cover letter, message or answer, read it and make sure every fact is true and every claim is yours. jobmaxxer is designed to only use facts from your master CV, but you are responsible for what you submit to employers. Don't use jobmaxxer to misrepresent yourself.
Job listings
Jobs come from other websites. We don't control those sites and can't promise a listing is accurate, still open or real. Fit grades are a rough guide, not advice. Follow the rules of any job site you use, and apply through the employer's own process.
No promises about results
jobmaxxer is a tool to help you stay organized and move faster. It doesn't guarantee interviews, offers or any other result.
Fair use of the site
Please don't attack, overload or try to break into this website, send spam through the feedback form, or use jobmaxxer for anything illegal or harmful to other people.
The code
The jobmaxxer code is shared on GitHub. You can use and change it as allowed by the license in that repository. The jobmaxxer name and logos belong to us.
Your feedback
If you send ideas or feedback, we can use them to improve jobmaxxer without owing you anything. Thank you, it really helps.
No warranty
jobmaxxer and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, lost data, lost opportunities or lost income from using jobmaxxer. Our total liability for anything related to jobmaxxer is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €50.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date below, and if a change is big we'll say so on the site. If you keep using jobmaxxer after a change, you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland handle any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of your own country's consumer laws and can also bring a claim in your local courts.
